Sardinia is
the beautiful island located west from
the Italian mainland just beneath Corsica.
With its Mediterranean climate and breath-taking
natural sand beaches the island is a renowned
holiday spot. One of the most famous beaches
is "La Cinta", a sand beach with
about 3 kilometres of length surrounded
by crystal clear water from both sides.
San
Teodoro is an idyllic town 20 km in the
South of Olbia, where one
of the three
Sardinian airports is located. The townscape
is rather influenced by smaller apartments
instead of big hotel resorts giving the
region around San Teodoro a quite exclusive
character. Due to the small size of San
Teodoro most of the important spots as
the beach, night clubs and grocery stores
are all in walking distance.
The
program takes place at several venues.
Hotel “Al Faro”
The Hotel which located just about 100 m
from La Cinta beach is the organisational
base of SUNANDBASS. Here the Welcome/Info Desk
for all participants will be set up. Occasionally smaller warm up sessions will
be featured on the outside area of the Hotel.

your stay at San Teodoro an unforgettable

Music on the Beach
In a very relaxed surrounding
you can listen to beautiful music while
chilling in the sand, playing some beach
soccer and quenching your thirst with
a fresh Sardinian beer…
The beach is the perfect platform
for the artists to dig deep in their
record cases and bust out some original
old school joints. Exceptional sessions
in the past have been a Soul & Funk
set by Drum’n’Bass
top
DJ Bailey or a house mix by Nu:Tone
out of the Hospital / Cambridge Camp. Of
course there will also be Drum’n’Bass
performances but the sessions on the beach
feature a rather distinguished spectrum
of musical styles. It’s all about
delivering the perfect soundtrack for your
own special summer holidays.
Ambra
Day & Ambra Night
The famous Ambra Club at San Teodoro is
represented by two
different locations.
Ambra Day is located
right in the city centre. With its sophisticated
and cosy outside area it is the perfect
playground for several SUNANDBASS Pre-Night
events. In the past we held sessions with
Drum’n’Bass greats as John
B or Logistics. No warm up business as
you can imagine. Of course the music has
to be turned off around midnight but we
had some proper sessions there.
As the name
says Ambra Night is
the bigger night club which is located
DIRECTLY at the beach. An exceptional spot
bringing you a Drum’n’Bass
party like we are sure you never experienced
before! Take a look at the clubs website

Ambra Night is the main club where most
of the club nights will take place.
Bal Harbour
The Bal Harbour is the newest add to the
SUNANDBASS locations. Located close to the
beach this open air location stands out with
an extraordinary architecture and very stylish
mediterrean atmosphere.
After sunset the
mood lighting in the pool gives the location
an even nicer look. The top-class restaurant
offers a wide variety of local food and wine
specialties. In 2007 the Bal Harbour was
the stage for an unforgettable live performance
of Jenna G and Dj's like Marcus Intalex.
Get
a cool drink, relax at the pool next to palmtrees
and listen to some of the best contemporary
D&B artists at this must see location! |
