Once
upon a time...
Well, history
is a pretty strong word. But being around
for 7 years now and regarding the numerous
stories that have been written during each
edition of SUNANDBASS,
we really feel like using the word in the
context of our Drum’n’Bass
holidays is more than appropriate. No edition
of SUNANDBASS is
like the other and sure enough there are
way too many stories to be told. Let’s
keep it short then...
2003 – The beginning
Two
of the promoters met in Milan during a
study semester abroad, where they were
both casted for a summer job on Sardinia.
Being Drum’n’Bass enthusiasts
for quite a while they got in touch with
the local music scene quite easily.

2004 – Going
big!
It was 2004 when the first full edition of SUNANDBASS took
place in San Teodoro. And boy, this time we
did it properly! With a fantastic
line up and
an extensive promotion the number of participants
went
through the roof!

2005 – „When
I say SUNAND you say BASS!“
The second edition of SUNANDBASS even
got a top DJ and producer to perform as an
MC! After several vino biancos John
B grabbed the Mic and dropped some fun lyrics
for the crowd. Definately one of the highlights
in 2005!

2006 – A living
legend
As a living legend SUNANDBASS returned
to beautiful Sardinia on the 2nd of September
2006! For the third time the exceptional one-week
Drum’n’Bass festival took place
at one of the most exclusive holiday spots
in Europe.

2007 – SUNANDBASS
4 ...ever!
SUNANDBASS came back to San
Teodoro with full speed ahead.
We got our bathing suits out and were more than proud to announce that SUNANDBASS was
taking place from 8 to 15 September on the beautiful island of Sardinia.

2008 – Stop the rumours, it's official!
Yes, we took you back to one of the most exclusive holiday spots in the mediterrean! SUNANDBASS 2008 took place at San Teodoro on the gorgeous island of Sardinia, Italy.

2009 – The fever is rising
